Unlike all the other groups on this list, the Amorites are the only nation given their own listing on the table as a son of Canaan. As a result, we will leave a full discussion for their section in the Book of Ham, but their location of Hazezon Tamar might be found somewhere near Sodom and Gomorrah at Ein Gedi.
While this group was widely spread, it appears that only a small group of Amorites joined in this war, rather than a significant number. However, we know Avram was closely related to the Amorite people, as was Amraphel and his Amorite allies, making it probable he had an affiliation to the coalition through this group specifically. We also know later on Og, as king of Bashan, in addition to his brother Sihon, were both the leaders of Amorites. As a result, it seems extremely clear why the Amorites are listed in this war given their close relationship to various giants.
An extremely short section, since the Amorites have their own listing as children of Canaan, but still interesting to discuss. Thank you again.
Excellent work
